Hall Sensor Error
Error Code 24 is related to the Hall sensors on your electric bike's Bafang hub motor. Hall sensors are responsible for determining the position and speed of the motor's rotor, allowing for precise control of the motor's performance. When these sensors malfunction or encounter issues, your bike may display Error Code 24.
Troubleshooting Error Code 24:
-
Check Connections:
- Begin by inspecting all the electrical connections related to the motor. Pay close attention to the connection between the motor and controller along the length of the chainstay.
- Ensure all connections are secure and free from damage. Loose or disconnected wires can trigger a Hall Sensor Error.

- Replace Motor:
- If the error code 24 persists after reconnecting the motor/controller connection, you will need to replace the hub motor. If you are still within your warranty period, or have the Extend warranty, this will be covered. If you are outside of your warranty period, we will send you a quote for the replacement part(s).
